Annual Institutional Quality Assurance Report (AIQR)
The Annual Institutional Quality Assurance Report (AIQR) is an annual report about internal quality assurance that institutions provide to QQI. The AIQR template has been developed with reference to the ENQA (the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) European Standards and Guidelines, upon which QQI's Core Statutory Quality Assurance Guidelines are based. Find out more about the purpose and structure of the AIQR by clicking here or on the image to the right. The annual reports can be accessed by clicking on the relevant institution in the table below.
Summary of Annual Institutional Quality Assurance Reports
QQI prepares an annual summary of the AIQRs to bring together data provided, to identify themes occurring across the institutions and to highlight quality activities undertaken during the reporting period. This summary report presents quality activities undertaken during each reporting period.
For QQI, and the wider public, this publication demonstrates the many QA activities being undertaken across institutions and the resulting improvements implemented. The focus of the report is on improving the student experience and teaching and learning activities. There are benefits for institutions too as the report provides them with a place to highlight and publicise common themes across the sector and gives them a source for improvements that can be made in between periodic quality reviews.
