QQI is committed to making its websites (qqi.ie,qualifax.ie, myphd.ie, Global Academic Integrity Network, and TrustEd Ireland) accessible, in accordance with European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020.   

This accessibility statement applies to content published on qqi.ie,qualifax.ie, myphd.ie, Global Academic Integrity Network, and TrustEd Ireland websites. 

Compliance status  

These websites are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 level AA. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. 

Non-accessible content  

Some content on these websites may not fully comply with the European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020.  

For example: 

  • Legacy websites and older systems may not be fully accessible. 
  • Some PDF documents do not have correct table headings, tab order or reading order.  
  • Some images or videos do not have suitable alternative text. 
  • Some elements within pages do not have sufficient levels of colour contrast. 
  • Some statistical publications are not fully accessible. 
  • Some tables and forms are not fully accessible. 
  • Some of our data is presented using Tableau and parts of these visualisations may not be fully accessible. 

This statement was prepared in July 2026. Automated accessibility checker tools and manual testing were used to assess accessibility. QQI is aware of the issues with accessibility and is undertaking a phased approach to eliminate those issues in a timely manner.  

QQI.ie is subject to monitoring by the National Disability Authority under the European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020.
