Open Competition for Appointment to Senior Communications Manager (Assistant Principal)
Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) is seeking to fill a permanent Senior Communications Manager (Assistant Principal) position. The Senior Communications Manager, reporting to the Head of the Partnerships Division, will lead the development and delivery of QQI’s strategic communications agenda, ensuring clear, consistent and impactful messaging across all channels. This role is central to building a public understanding of QQI’s regulatory role and promoting the quality and integrity of Ireland’s further and higher education system. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, covering internal and external communications, media relations, digital engagement and stakeholder communications.

QQI’s Gender Pay Gap Report 2025
In line with the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 QQI has published its first Gender Pay Gap report.
The Gender Pay Gap is an equality measure that shows the difference between the average earnings of all men versus that of all women in an organisation. The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 requires organisations to report on their hourly gender pay gap across a range of metrics.
