RFT: Statutory QA Guidelines on Work-Integrated Learning

QQI has published a Request for Tenders (RfT) for the provision of services related to the development of statutory quality assurance guidelines on work-integrated learning.

The Services comprise:

• Engagement with relevant stakeholders to:
  • gain an understanding of work-integrated learning as currently practised in Ireland;
  • determine matters arising in respect of the quality assurance of work-integrated learning that are of concern to stakeholder to inform the development of statutory quality assurance guidelines.
• Production of a typology of work-integrated learning as currently practised in Ireland and internationally for publication by QQI;
• Production of a summary of practice and quality assurance considerations identified by stakeholders in respect of work-integrated learning;
• Development of a consultation draft of statutory quality assurance guidelines on work-integrated learning;
• Production of an analysis of responses to the public consultation for publication by QQI;
• Preparation of a final draft of statutory quality assurance guidelines on work-integrated learning;
• Development of multimedia information resources for learners and employers; and
• Recommendations on any further outputs or activities to support practice in this area.
