NARIC Ireland 2024 statistics on the recognition of foreign qualifications now available to view
Along with 2023, NARIC Ireland has now presented data for 2024 on the use of its recognition service that provides insight into who is downloading comparability statements, and those countries to which this relates.
All data points reflect growth in use and increasing interest at home and abroad in understanding the relationship of qualifications to each other reflected within our service, in our common cause for fair recognition.
The top ten qualifications for which comparability statements were viewed represent 53% of all types of qualifications viewed in 2024 and reflect learning at level 6 or higher. 72% of comparability statements downloaded also relate to learning in the higher education space.
The bulk of interest in understanding qualifications in relation to the NFQ remains from within Ireland, followed by Brazil, Ukraine, India, Spain and the UK, a pattern consistent in both 2023 and 2024.
