Professional Award-type Descriptors for the National Framework of Qualifications

QQI has extended its set of professional award-type descriptors to levels 5 and 6 of the National Framework of qualifications. The set now spans levels 5 to 9.
These descriptors, among other things, provide general standards for the development of professional awards within the National Framework of Qualifications. It is intended that they would be used, for example, for apprenticeship awards.
